Data Transfer Zone

About

The Data Transfer Zone (DTZ) is an online application that makes it possible to securely send and receive (large) data files.
In terms of use, the DTZ is similar to public transfer services. It is specifically designed to send and receive data securely and there is no limit to the amount of data that is sent or received.

Within Erasmus MC, the use of the DTZ is therefore preferred over the use of public transfer services.

The DTZ offers personalized accounts with specifically specified rights (for instance upload and/or download permission) and access to project specific folders. An extensive manual can be found under Documents.

Erasmus MC users can request a DTZ account via TopDesk Self-Service Portal (Only available within Erasmus MC network)
External users can request a DTZ account via research.it@erasmusmc.nl.

The necessary information for creating a DTZ account includes name, surname and e-mail address. If you want to create (sub)folders, please state the name as costcenter_acronym.
